Proof of concept implementation that takes (to be signed) RIR delegation stats to build up the current view of which RIR holds which Internet Number Resources.
The code for this currently lives on a private NRO gitlab repository. It will likely be made public when it is more mature.
This tool combines IANA and RIR stats files in order to resolve the holdership of resources to each RIR. History is kept so that resources which have been resolved to one registry can only move to another registry after the current holder drops its claim. The following files are downloaded daily at 9:00 UTC used for verification.
IANA -> "https://ftp.apnic.net/pub/stats/iana/delegated-iana-latest"
AFRINIC -> "https://ftp.afrinic.net/stats/afrinic/delegated-afrinic-extended-latest"
APNIC -> "https://ftp.apnic.net/stats/apnic/delegated-apnic-extended-latest"
ARIN -> "https://ftp.arin.net/pub/stats/arin/delegated-arin-extended-latest"
LACNIC -> "https://ftp.lacnic.net/pub/stats/lacnic/delegated-lacnic-extended-latest"
RIPENCC -> "https://ftp.ripe.net/pub/stats/ripencc/delegated-ripencc-extended-latest"
The following files are saved under out/yyyy/mm/dd - resolved.txt : Resolved claims in the format of the NRO delegated stats file - unresolved.txt : Contains all other claims - verified-constraint-configuration-RIR.txt: Verified constraint configuration files for each RIR
The following is a - possibly not quite up to date - list of what is done, and still planned to be done for this tool
